Our Learn to Tow course provides practical towing instruction in a friendly and supportive environment. Our experienced instructors help participants develop their towing knowledge, manoeuvring skills and confidence through plenty of supervised practice.

Course content may include:

• Essential towing and vehicle safety checks

• Correct coupling and uncoupling procedures

• Understanding weights and towing terminology

• Safe forward driving and turning

• Reversing and manoeuvring techniques

• Using a spotter effectively

• Extension mirrors and other towing equipment

• Gravel-road towing tips

We also conduct separate Off Road Towing courses for camper-trailer owners who want to travel beyond maintained roads and venture properly off the beaten track. Outback gravel roads are not necessarily off-road—the Cape York Telegraph Track is!

If you later book a confirmed Learn to Tow course, you will generally need to bring:

• Your lunch and drinking water

• A hat and sunscreen

• Closed-in shoes

• Camp chairs

• Extension mirrors if your caravan or trailer is wider than your towing vehicle

• Wheel chocks

• A jockey wheel

Any course-specific requirements will be provided with your confirmed booking.

This waitlist is for Learn to Tow training in Luddenham, Sydney. If another suitable nearby venue becomes available, we may also let you know.

Once you make a confirmed course booking, your confirmation email will contain the final venue details and a clickable Google map. Please check your junk or spam folder if you do not receive it.
